Chilstone will be at the RHS Hampton Court Show on the Griffin Glasshouses stand
Wednesday, June 16 , 2021
Chilstone are proud to be at the RHS Hampton Court Garden Festival from 6-11 July 2021. We will feature on the stand of our friends, Griffin Glasshouses, a great company that we have collaborated with many times over the years. We’re looking forward to getting back to the flower show circuit after what has been a strange time for us all. We would love you to come and see us.
How to Find Us
You’ll be able to find us on the Griffin Glasshouses on stand HC320.
RHS Hampton Court Garden Festival returns in 2021 from 6 to 11 July to the majestic location of Hampton Court Palace on the banks of the River Thames, west of London.
Hampton Court is known as King Henry VIII’s pleasure palace where he loved to host jousting. The RHS showground is scattered across the meadows to the East of the palace and claims to be the world’s largest flower show, and we can believe it. It’s a huge space with an abundance of things to see and do under normal conditions. We’re intrigued as to how the RHS will handle this show this year as it usually sees high footfall over the 6 days of public access. Visitors to the Griffin Glasshouses stand will be assured of a Covid-safe experience and we can’t wait to meet up with you all again.
The Stand
Griffin Glasshouses will be bringing along two glasshouses from their National Gardens Scheme glasshouse range, a Lavender and a Thyme along with a small panel sided glasshouse measuring just 2.1m x 1.5m to demonstrate just how much you can pack into a tiny space. You will be able to experience the quality of build of a Griffin Glasshouse up close. You will also get to appreciate the craftsmanship of Chilstone’s very own, handcrafted Octagonal Jardinere Fountain to help dress the stand this year, which we hope will impress the judges!
This fountain has been adapted from our Octagonal Jardinere, so many of the pieces in our range can be transformed into fountains too on request.
Many Things to See
Of course, most people will be coming to see the show gardens, and we are particularly looking forward to seeing how garden designer Tracy Foster helps the Canal & River Trust respond to their space. A highlight of the show will surely be yet another excellent feature garden by designer Tom Stuart-Smith with his RHS Iconic Horticultural Hero Garden, and we have an interest in seeing what’s on display by father-of-no-dig, Charles Dowding & Steph Hafferty in their No Dig Allotment Demonstration Garden.
So, between browsing the show gardens and other trader’s stands at the show, come along and say hello and get some inspiration for your garden.
A History at Hampton Court
Chilstone’s products are regularly featured in displays at Hampton Court. From the Growing Obsession garden designed by Designed by Jean Wardrop and Alexandra Stevenson inspired by the Victorian ladies’ flower garden filled with Chilstone’s urns, pedestals and balustrade and a Griffin Glasshouse.
Our bench was also part of the kitchen garden design for a very famous chef! We love to help garden designers bring their vision to life, but it is wonderful to collaborate with our friends.
