stone for his contemporary design

We were approached by local developer Neil Truman who wanted bespoke stone for his contemporary design with full working drawings and CGI with the simple brief of “I have always wanted to build a house with black framed windows and stone surrounds, can you help?”

Neal, of Sennocke Construction is experienced in producing prestige housing projects with an excellent finish to be proud of. We used a combination of standard moulds and bespoke handcrafted items to achieve his vision. Chilstone worked with Neal using Auto CAD to draw up plans for approval prior to manufacture.

The front entrance arch surround was cast to a unique design, using a block layout with many more individual stones than would normally be seen. This allowed the joints to be an integral part of the design, combining function with beauty.

Chilstone worked closely with Neal throughout the design and manufacture process, allowing us to supply the stone units required for each stage of the build to fit with Neal’s project timings.

A great working partnership utilising our combined expertise, has produced a product tailored to Neal’s original design. Our Stone added an elegance and kerb appeal to the property that we are very proud to have produced.
