Chilstone were asked to recommend and
create a stonework scheme that would
be sympathetic to the client’s design
and the surrounding properties.

Chilstone were approached by a private client building her first property in Langton Green. With interesting ideas but limited working construction knowledge, we were asked to recommend and create a stonework scheme that would be sympathetic to both her design and the surrounding properties.

Using the initial basic plans supplied, we created detailed drawings for the client to view and approve, together with cast stone samples. We also utilised existing sections to save on the cost of creating new moulds.

The detailing and the profiles of the stone were a key factor, particularly for the Window Surrounds and the Portico, combining to create a strikingly beautiful frontage.

Chilstone collaborated closely with the client throughout the project, offering advice and guidance to ensure that the client received not only the best stonework but also a great deal of knowledge for her future projects.
