Feature House and Garden Building Project
This house and garden were designed to create maximum impact. There is a large amount of stone work in this project, from architectural stone to garden ornaments throughout this twenty-one acre estate.
The sweeping driveway is lined with statues and urns on pedestals that draw the eye up towards the impressive entrance to a large, stylish portico with traditional stone columns. The front of the building is striking with hand crafted stone window surrounds, traditional string course and cornice detailing.
The back of the house is even more impressive! There is a bespoke, rounded portico that looks out onto the landscaped lawn. The house also comprises of a garage block, with distinguished columns and an Orangery with a domed roof. The Orangery roof is also adorned with pairs of urns as finials.
The garden has been designed to reflect the detailing on the exterior of the house. The garden wall is finished with sleek coping that blends into the planting scheme as part of the overall design. The raked balustrades create a central feature of the garden staircase and define the different zones within the garden.
This garden contains over forty large urns and statement statues on pedestals to add an air of opulence. We even created bespoke arched alcoves to frame key pieces.
The house is clad in a blue-grey render, our stone was supplied in a specific colour to compliment the shade. We were proud to be part of the team who helped to create this impressive property.
