New Build Inspired By Georgian Style

Over our seventy years in business we have worked on many building projects. We make a wide range of architectural stone. This new build was inspired by Georgian style. We worked in collaboration with Mumford and Wood to create this large, beautiful property.

Before

The owners bought a plot with an existing dwelling in place.

The original house was demolished to make way for the new build inspired by Georgian design.

New Build

A large three storey home was built on the site. We handcrafted many architectural stone features, from the stone window surrounds for the sash windows to the large portico that frames the impressive entrance. All beautifully finished with the addition of a classic string course. The beautiful sash windows and doors were made by the skilled experts, Mumford and Wood.

The columns for the stone portico were made in one piece to create a sleek finish to avoid ugly join lines. All our stone is handmade in our Kent workshop with tools, nothing is made with machinery to ensure all the fine details are crisp.

We crafted a door surround for the bi-folding doors at the back of the house that matched the many windows, for a smart finish. This new build has all the luxury of modern construction with a heritage feel, in keeping with the neighbourhood in the Kent countryside.
