Chelsea Flower Show 2018 Trends
As we’ve been here since the build, we’ve been keenly noting down all the latest garden trends and ideas to report back to you so that you can have fun plotting your summer gardens full of Chelsea inspiration. Here are our Top 10 Chelsea takeaways this year…
Thank you so much to out talented photographer David Bartholomew for being on hand to snap the trends as they grew!
1)Lupins
We are so pleased to see the return of the lupin, a statement in any size garden, beautiful planted in one or many colours, the Lupin is a firm favourite planting trend for 2018.

2) Living Walls and Vertical Gardens
Growing vertically, instead of horizontally is a key trend throughout Chelsea 2018, prompting those with small gardens to think again about their space and how best to maximize it.
We love the living walls and vertical gardening ideas we’ve spotted this show!

3) Outdoor Living
Bringing the inside out and creating an outdoor living room has been wildly popular at Chelsea this year. We know we don’t have the climate to do this all year round, so why not make the most of your garden this summer and give the TV a break; dust off those tables and chairs and bring out some blankets and make yourself a cosy outdoor space for evening relaxation.

4) Grow a Rainbow
A rainbow colour palette seems to be key this season at RHS Chelsea. Instead of planting in matching colours or separating shades of flowers, garden designers have gone wild with colour and planted rainbows all over the show.
5) Copper
Copper has been a big trend in the home for a while now, and with 2018 being the year of bringing your living room outside it seems only fitting that this interior trend moves outdoors.
We’ve spotted copper featuring heavily in many gardens and stands this year and we think it looks beautiful.
We have so enjoyed all the gardens at this years show. Which Chelsea 2018 trends will you be incorporating into your gardens this year?
